Two Brand New Art Programmes - Monday and Tuesday afternoons!

Mondays:

Do you have a busy little budding artist? Great news! A weekly art and craft programme will be starting in Week 3 (5th February) on Monday afternoons during school term time. This 8 week programme will include learning to work with clay, use water colour and acrylic paints, pencil drawings, collage and fabric art.

Students will create art pieces that they will be able to enter into the Bell and Dalby Shows, if they wish.

Each student will be provided with the art materials that they need for each project, as well as an A4 Art Book as their portfolio.

Tuesdays:

Do you have a child in Years 4 to 8 who is struggling with anxiety or stress? Are they finding it difficult to relax after school and struggling with friendship issues? Unfortunately, this is a common problem and can be extremely difficult for students, parents and schools to manage.

The Tuesday afternoon programme will provide art and creative mindful activities for students who are needing some strategies to help them to relax and manage stressors. The afternoon will begin with a short guided meditation, then they will work on an art piece while listening to some music and chatting.
